Android Nougat 7.0 new version is coming to Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones. The third update for the new OS has been teased several weeks ago to be released to both handsets following feedbacks from the Samsung users.   

The Android Nougat 7.0 beta version allows smartphone users to test the software and provide feedback about the performance. Reports also suggest that the Android Nougat 7.0 update may also be accessed by other Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users in other regions soon. Google's latest OS, the Android Nougat 7.0, was made available in August, and currently available to select compatible devices only, but the latest Android Nougat 7.0 is also reported to come to other smartphones soon.

Android Nougat 7.0 new beta version has reportedly brought a number of improvements on the spacing between the clock and the status bar icon. In addition, smartphone users who received the new Android Nougat 7.0 also noted some improvements on the multi-window, lock screen and the notifications. However, the issues that were previously encountered by Android Nougat 7.0 beta users with screen activation and the WiFi connection have not been fixed yet.

The Android Nougat 7.0 new beta is reported to weigh about 300MB and should be downloaded manually. Some reports indicate that the Android Nougat 7.0 beta program will run until mid-December only. Although Samsung has not officially confirmed yet the release of Android Nougat 7.0 on the Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7, rumors claim that both smartphones will get the OS either by the end of December or early January 2017, IT Pro reported.

Android Nougat 7.0, moreover, is reported to come to OnePlus 3 smartphone recently, which means the phone users may now download and install the new beta. The new OS version comes with a feature of allowing a split-screen between any chosen two apps, including a redesigned shade and improvement on battery saving technology called Doze, Express reported.
