Did the Samsung Galaxy A7 fail the Bluetooth certification? No it did not. Reports have it that it passed that test. When a phone passes that test it is set to be released officially. In the Samsung Galaxy A7's case possibly this December.

The new Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 will have the IP68 dust and water resistance feature, which is usually reserved for the higher-end models, like Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge, Nashville Chatter Class reported. Though this is just a midrange phone, it will still come with impressive specs. It will have a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen. It will have a 7.8mm thick body, with choices of either a unibody metal or a glass chassis.

The new model is reportedly powered by Samsung's Exynos 7880 SoC, which is at 1.8GHz, DiGit reported. The giant tech company is slowly becoming more independent from its chip makers. Now it is capitalizing on its Exynos chipset for its budget and mid-range smartphone.

The new Galaxy A7 will have 3GB DDR4 RAM. Its internal storage has a 32GB size. It will also feature a microSD slot for more storage.

It will not have a QHD resolution, but it will have the Full HD resolution that Samsung offers for its non-flagship models. Its camera will have the new 16PM rear snapper. It will come with f/1.9 aperture. Its front camera will have a 16-megapixel resolution.

The new A7 will also have a fingerprint senor. It will also have a switch to USB-C port capacity for more efficient data transfer and charging.

Samsung has recently been under hot water with the recall of its Galaxy Note7, due to issues on exploding battery. This has been a major controversy for the company in 2016. Now, the Samsung is trying to recover through its budget and mid-range smartphones. So far, Samsung has worked on its growth through its J series and A series.
