The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 was supposed to be released in the middle of 2106 based on the release cycle of its previous models. There are rumors though that it is going to be released soon as Tab S3 prototypes have arrived in India for testing.

Samsung "SM-T825" Sent To India For Testing

Zauba is a website that tracks the import and export of Samsung products to India. The site noted that eight Samsung "SM-T825" were sent from South Korea to India. It was clearly indicated that the tablets were not for sale but for evaluation and testing purposes only. Curiously, the "SM-T825" does not correspond to any existing Samsung Tablet out in the market, while the value indicated for the mystery Samsung tablet is around $500.

Samsung Tab S3 Image Leaked?

Samsung did not release much detail about the upcoming Tab S3, but someone leaked an image of the tablet. Tech journalist Evan Blass posted a Tweet showing a purported Samsung Tab S3, wherein it does not look any different from the previous Tab S2 but has same aspect ratio of 16:10 to the Tab S1. There are also rumors that the Galaxy Tab S3 will come in three colors namely black, white and gold.

Samsung Tab S3 Processor Rumor

The upcoming Galaxy Tab S3 may feature either the Exynos 8890 or the Snapdragon 820. The Exynos is an octa-core processor that has a clock speed of 2.3 GHz, while its memory utilizes the LPDDR4 dual-channel and its LTE Cat.12 modem has a theoretical 600Mbps download speed. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, on the other hand, is an octa-core processor that's not exactly slower than the Exynos. Its modem capability can also download data 600Mbps in theory.

Samsung Tab S3 Release Date

Much of the reported Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 spec, details are merely speculation for the moment. The release date, however, is expected to be on early 2017 if the India beta testing rumors are true.
