Fans and gamers have been enthralled since the initial release of the game "Plants vs. Zombies" back in May 2009. In the fourth installment of the game, "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2," fans were surprised to see the short appearance of Rux in the game. Moreover, the franchise has recently moved unto the card game genre and sources have posted their own reviews on what they have to say about that.

In its second iteration, the game became a third-person shooter and tower defense, which was released this February on all three Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One.

In recent news, PopCap tweeted on its official Twitter account announcing the return of Rux and his brief appearance in the game world, Videogames Republic learned. The source went on to list a few things that fans ought to know during the character's short stint in the game.

First, it was noted by the same publication that Rux might serve useful to gamers as they can obtain rare stickers, wherein the character will be having around five pieces of the said rare stickers.

It was also stated further that Rux will be have its short appearance until Nov. 13 only. These merchandises was said to cost players between ten thousand to about a quarter of a million coins.

In other news, the franchise has also gone into dabbling with the card-game genre by releasing its latest installment, "Plants vs. Zombies Heroes." In a recent review, Forbes went on to describe the game as familiar as Blizzard's own "Hearthstone" card-game.

However, the source did mention that it has its own unique traits that would allow "Plants vs. Zombies Heroes" to steer away from it being called a knock-off. As such, the same publication went on to give it a "worth to download" verdict since it is free on the mobile platform. Moreover, the source also did hope that EA would port the game to other consoles and the PC as well, since the game does have a promising future.
