Fans and avid first-person shooter gamers would agree that it has never been an easy task to choose between the triple-A shooter games that just got released this year. As such, most if not all would need to rely on some reviews in order for them to be guided in their purchases. A lot of sources have already pitted "Titanfall 2" and "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" against each other; however, this time around, they've put their focus on the multiplayer feature of the games. Moreover, news of a recent update for "Infinite Warfare" just went live on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Most video games, nowadays, have incorporated in them a multiplayer feature. Then there are those who have made it a core aspect of their gameplay, such as "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and "Titanfall 2." In a review done by Forbes, they looked at the multiplayer feature of both games and ended up with their own verdict to help gamers out there.

Basically, it all boiled down to about between the "tried and tested" (Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare) and "evolving forward" kind of games (Titanfall 2). Though personal preference will still play a bigger part in choosing between the two, Forbes went on to point out certain factors that made "Titanfall 2" a better choice.

The source differentiated the two games based on the type of gameplay that the two offered to its fans. On one hand, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" added a few tweaks to its seemingly formulaic yet successful multiplayer format. On the other hand, the same publication went on to state that "Titanfall 2" seemed to offer something new to fans of the FPS genre.

In the end, it went on to choose "Titanfall 2" over "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" for the main reason that the former fostered a more conducive environment for gamers to improve on. "Titanfall 2" and Respawn's decision to remove the "death" tracker in its game has made losing in games more tolerable; thus, it helped gamers want to improve more in it rather than just quit at it altogether.

In other news, it was reported that an update 1.04 for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" just went live on both the PS4 and Xbox One, PlayStation Lifestyle has learned.

It was stated that the update was at about 850MB to 1GB for the PS4 and Xbox One, respectively, and that it included changes like a rarity for camoes, the ability to see other gamers' stats in the lobby, a Recent Players tab, a lobby status, and the HUD showing the kill feed and other player's emblems upon one's death and more.
