Microsoft Surface Phone leak finally shed a light to the product. It indicates that the most powerful smartphone, is getting an imminent release.

Microsoft Surface Phone to be powered by Intel Processor?

The newest information about Surface Phone came from the notorious leakster Evan Blass. Taking Twitter to leak the detail, @Evleaks said that the upcoming Surface Phone will be powered by Intel Processor, NDTV reported.

Not just giving out a plain rumor, Blass even tweeted a concept image of what's believed to be the actual render of Microsoft Surface Phone, GSM Arena reported.

Microsoft Surface Phone rumored specifications

Previously, the tech crowd has heard about Snapdragon 830 chipset that will be used to power up the Surface Phone. However, Blass' latest leak indicates that a powerful Intel processor may be on the way to be shipped with the business-centric device. Previous report also suggests three high-end smartphone variants differed in RAM space. Other rumored specifications include 5.7 Quad HD display and 20 MP camera from Carl Zeiss.

As a device designed for professionals, Microsoft could take on iOS and Android platforms with the Redstone OS. The update is said to deliver more features while being battery-efficient.

Taking note of what Satya Nadella has said previously - Microsoft will be making a phone and it will have a continuum feature - which means, it will be more connected to other devices such as monitor, mouse and keyboards.

With that being said, the newest leak from Blass that claims a PC-class processor in Surface Phone, should corroborate the  CEO's statement.

Microsoft Surface Phone release date

As the rumors are emerging one by one, it can be assumed that the Surface Phone launching date is imminent. Reports suggest an early 2017 release date with an estimated price of $699, Trusted Review has learned.
