Movies about Thor are often a secondary consideration when compared to Marvel's other superhero movies such as "Captain America," "Guardians of the Galaxy," and "Iron Man." This time, however, Marvel has given the spotlight to Thor through "Thor: Ragnarok." It is said that the release date for the movie will be on Oct. 27, 2017 for the United Kingdom and Nov. 3, 2017 for the United States.

Its showing date will follow right after the "Guardian of the Galaxy Vol 2" and "Spider Man: Homecoming," but it will be premiering before the showing of "Black Panther" and "Avengers: Infinity War." "Ragnarok" is said to be the link that connects the current MCU plots and the great fight involving Thanos in "Infinity War."

It is obvious that Chris Hemsworth will be playing Thor, Jaimie Alexander will still play as the warrior Sif, while the big green Hulk will be played by Mark Ruffalo. The Warriors Three were also seen in Australia, thus, it is indeed possible to see them again in this movie, except for Zachary Levi whose presence was not yet felt, according to the Independent UK.

Since Marvel is fond of casting famous Hollywood stars, Cate Blanchett is expected to be on "Ragnarok" as Hela, while Jeff Goldblum will be the Grandmaster, Karl Urban is Skurge a.k.a the Executioner, Anthony Hopkins' character Odin will also come back along with Idris Elba's Heimdall. John C Reilly will also return as Rhomann Dey, according to the Digital Spy.

The shooting for the "Thor: Ragnarok" began last July in Australia. Its director, Taika Waititi, went live on Facebook during the last shooting day for the movie. This has made the internet abuzz when Waititi showed the audiences a video tour of "Thor: Ragnarok's" set. What made the video even more interesting is that it was able to capture the cast members in their full costumes.
