As the development of MacBook Pro 2016 software has finalized last October 7, the new mac has been fully shaped up for its presumed launching date at the end of October. This time, Apple is not only targetting those regular mac users but also catching the attention of video gamers too. 

Software Development Finalized

Ming-Chi Kuo, a KGI security analyst has previously revealed about the presumed launching date of the two new Retina MacBook Pros referring to fourth quarter of 2016. But before that, Mac Rumors reported that Apple has targetted October 7 as the final stage of software development to be able to launch MacBook Pro 2016 in late October.

Following the software release plans of Apple, it seems like MacBook Pro 2016 is likely to be release in October 27 that is believed to run the latest version of macOS Sierra 10.12.1.

MacBook Pro 2016 for Gaming

The business-centric old retina MacBook Pros are well-received mostly by professionals and students. But this time, it seems like Apple is trying to have its share on the gamers' market profitability as the new MacBook Pro 2016 has features fit for gamers.

As Apple prepared for its entrance on the gaming community, the MacBook Pro 2016 is rumored to have the AMD Polaris graphics chipsets that increase the power efficiency of the new macs by 20 percent compared to its predecessor according to Bloomberg. Aside from that, the said chipsets are the best fit inside the thin body of the new mac.

Though Apple has not confirmed about what chipset will it use for the main processor, several credible reports suggesting that MacBook Pro 2016 will run the Intel Skylake as a replacement to Haswell (2012) and Broadwell (2014) processors.

MacBook Pro 2016 models prices have not yet revealed by Apple. However, rumors suggesting that the cost is likely to be quite higher than the old macs due to the added features.
