Jordan Webb, a 22-year-old University of Colorado backup quarterback has been ordered to undergo two years of probation in connection to a May fight that left an Air Force Academy cadet unconscious. Webb will also be performing 80 hours of community service and receiving alcohol treatment.

He pleaded guilty to third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, last week as prosecutors agreed to drop felony assault charges against him.

Alex Lewis, former Colorado offensive lineman, who transferred to Nebraska, faces a second-degree assault charge, a felony for the fight. He hasn't entered a plea yet. An arraignment for Lewis has been scheduled Sept. 20.

According to ABC, witnesses told police that Lewis smashed Lee Bussey's head into a brick wall and then both Webb and Lewis pushed the cadet to the ground and punched him.

According to a police report, officials found Bussey leaning against a garbage bin in an alley. He was unsettled and bleeding from his head.

Prosecutor Bruce Langer said that a plea bargain was allowed in Webb's case because officials feel that Webb was not mainly involved in the fight.

Webb is reported to have told Judge Patrick Butler that his role 'was minimal at best' and claimed that he has never been an aggressive person. He admitted to have shoved Bussey, but only did it to stop the fight.

"My role was minimal at best, but I take full responsibility and I shouldn't have put myself in that type of situation," Webb said. "I'm not a violent person and I never have been."
