Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is reported to arrive one day ahead of its scheduled release on Oct. 27. In fact, the company has sent invitations for an upcoming media event on Oct. 26 to be held in New York. In addition to this, the tech giant is also rumored to unveil other devices aside from the new laptop.

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Specs

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is believed to be the refreshed previous model of the Microsoft Surface Pro, there seems to be no way to confirm this, given the number of days left prior its release. Reports also indicate that some details of the upcoming device have been leaked online, including the rechargeable Surface Pen, an 8GB of RAM, a USB Type C Port and 128GB of internal storage. However, the cost was not indicated. Nevertheless, there are speculations that the pricing will be more expensive than the Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

Microsoft Surface Phones 2016

A new set of Microsoft Surface Phones are also expected to be introduced in Oct. 26, before the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 confirmation. Three variants of the phone series are reported to be unveiled, with ranges of 3GB to 8GB of RAM. On the other hand, Surface Book 2 is also believed to make an appearance, due to some rumors of Microsoft's anticipation of the Kaby Lake processor that the company plans to integrate with the upcoming laptop, MStarsNews reported.

Microsoft Redstone 2

Meanwhile, Microsoft is reported to have posted some documentation related to the Windows 10 version as "1703," which was discovered by Tero Alhonen and "The Walking Cat." Given the company's current naming convention for the releases of Windows 10, this suggests that the upcoming Redstone 2 build will be delivered on March 2017.

However, the tech giant had not confirmed this yet. Thus far, there are no revelations yet of the likely features of the Insider test builds of Redstone 2 in the Windows 10 launch, and test builds have mostly been vehicles for minor feature changes.
