The highly-anticipated MacBook Pro 2016 continues to develop another major update after more than 16 months of its previous update. Now, with the company's upcoming press conference, the tech giant is yet to confirm if Mac products will be unveiled.

According to iTechPost, reports surfacing online suggest that the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 will remove the headphone jack, after the company has gone to that same direction on iPhone 7. The removal of the 3.5 mm jack was a key factor that enabled Apple to produce a thinner iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus; however, there's still no confirmation if the said feature will be administered to MacBook Pro 2016.

In addition, another significant feature was spotted online after a leakster, named as Foxconninsider, in Reddit showed off a MacBook keyboard module and a very early prototype of Apple's E Ink Magic Keyboard, Trusted Reviews reported.

Through this function, the company will completely change the way consumers use their MacBook Pros and iMacs. The leakster also claims that Apple is in the process of acquiring the startup Sonder keyboard, which could make the new generation Magic Keyboard a reality.

As stated in a demonstration made by an executive of Foxconn "The final product is an advanced, elegant keyboard with transparent keys and a bespoke display that's as much a work of art as it is state of the art."

Unfortunately, there is still no guarantee that the Apple MacBook or Magic Keyboard will ever feature the technology.

Some known features of the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 that have already been surfaced earlier includes the OLED touchscreen, which will replace the physical function keys, a Touch ID power button that will support Apple Pay which macOS Sierra is confirmed to support, MagSafe 2 power port, a Force touch trackpad, and USB-C ports.

With the MacBook Pro 2016 confirmed to run Kaby Lake processors that will be released on 2017, reports suggest that the upcoming MacBook Pro will be more powerful as it enables WiDi short-range backup and WiGig on the computer.

Meanwhile, the MacBook Pro 2016 is speculated to be priced between the $1300 to $1350 ranges, while the new iMac 2016 is estimated to be valued at $1649.
