There are a lot of speculations on what new features will accompany the rumored iPad Mini 5. Should students wait for Apple's next device?

It was previously reported that the Apple Macbook Pro 2016 can help college students with its "shallower curves around the edges" design. This is a helpful feature since it would make bringing one's laptop along easier if it's sleeker. Gone would be the days of lugging around a bulky backpack around the campus.

One of the most exciting features that is said to be part of the Apple Macbook Pro 2016 specs is an OLED Display Touch Bar. It is speculated to be placed above the number keys of the keyboard, replacing the standard F key functions, which is fully-customizable.

Meanwhile, Mac World reported that the iPad Mini 5 is said to feature 3D Touch pressure, which is still not available for the company's iPad line. Moreover, the upcoming device could be waterproof and dust-resistant, making it fitting for the harsh environment of college campuses.

The iPad Mini 5 is also believed to have a thinner design, made possible by a new smaller, battery. A thinner design would make it more convenient to carry around in campus. While it may seem like a loss for the battery capacity, new technology is believed to make its performance similar to that of its predecessor.

Its processor may also be improved to an A9 processor. With this, there would be significant changes in its speed and graphics, allowing apps to run smoother.
