LEGO Dimensions are getting three expansion packs next year. The first is a narrative-based pack, the second and third includes figures that can be reassembled. LEGO also launched a new app called the Education WeDo 2.0 app to help further encourage students in science through real and relevant materials.

LEGO Dimensions will be rolling out three new expansion packs in February 2017,  Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced. The "LEGO Batman Movie" Story Pack and "Excalibur Batman" Fun Pack will be released on Feb. 10 alongside The "Knight Rider" Fun Pack, just in time for the "LEGO Batman movie," IGN reported.

The Story Pack will feature  six narrative-based levels and LEGO Gateway bricks that may be assembled in Bat-Computer, Batgirl or Robin minifigures. A contractible Batwing can also be rebuilt into The Black Thunder or Bat-Tank as well.

The LEGO Dimensions Fun Pack will have a new Batman minifigure and buildable Bionic Steed that can be reassembled in Bat-Raptor or Ultrabat. The pack also includes access to "LEGO Batman Movie" Battle Arena and Adventure World.  The "Knight Rider" Fun Pack will go back to the classic 80s TV series with a Michael Knight minifigure that may be reassembled into K.I.T.T. Jet and Goliath Armoured Semi.

Warner Bros. will also be supporting LEGO Dimensions with several expansion packs that are slated for this year, such as "Sonic the Hedgehog," "Gremlins," "E.T.," "Adventure Time," and  J.K. Rowling's "Fantastic Beasts" and "Where to Find Them."

In other news, LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 app has been released for Windows 10 devices. Education WeDo 2.0 is an elementary science solution via a robot-based learning system, MS Power User reported.

The app features great science projects in engineering, programming, and technology. The app includes a Project Library with 17 projects, a Design Library with inspirational ideas, 40 hours of material, and a Documentation Tool. It combines LEGO brick, software that are classroom-friendly, and materials to create science projects. Teachers can also get support through training, curriculum, and a built-in assessment.

LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 app was created to engage students' curiosity by enabling them to investigate and design ideas from a range of science topics. This is expected to help boost children's confidence through experimentation and problem solving. The app was also made to be realistic and relevant to engineering, technology, as well as programming.
