Is there a hope to finally see an alien or any creature on the moon? The photo appeared online reported shows a spike that could be an antenna of an alien on the moon.

Many publications revealed the controversial photo that was reported has captured an image of an alien's antenna. This object could be a roof of an alien base, according to Daily Mail.

The photo of lunar surface is actually taken by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). If you will focus on the photo, you may notice a spike object in the photo.

An alien or UFO hunter named Mark Sawalha claimed that the "spike" object in the NASA's photo lunarsurface is the alien's antenna. The UFO hunter also claimed that "aliens" created its bases on the moon as this place has minerals.

The UFO hunter believed that NASA knows that the object is an alien's antenna, but the agency chose not to publish it. Sawalha speculated that aliens' presence on the lunar surface may be the reason why the agency has not sent any manned spacecraft to Earth's satellite since the Apollo missions.

It is not easy to spot the "spike" object in the picture. But if you will zoom the photo, you will see the spike that casts a shadow. Aside from this antenna-like object, there is also a :clear plateau" under the antenna, according to the source.

Sawalha believed there could be some mining activities going on the Moon.

As Sawaha's claim has become viral, an expert spoke up, and shared his explanation about the mysterious object in the photo. He said that the "alien antenna" is just an optical illusion.

"In this case the vertical looking hill is more likely to be caused by shadows from a hill that has a steep bank or cliff face on the right-hand-side," Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual, told MailOnline.
