As Huawei is still busy on working on the new devices, Huawei Mate 9 and Mate S2, a recent report suggested that these devices will sport Leica rear cameras. Meanwhile, Huawei Honor 8 was sent in the sky as the smartphone company attempted to set the record for the highest smartphone livestream ever.

Huawei has partnered again with Leica. There is a report that suggests Huawei Mate 9 could have a dual camera setup with sensors created by Leica, according to Phone Arena.

This is not the first time the two tech companies teamed up to equip the smartphones with sensors. According to the report, Mate 9 is expected to come with OIS, analog zoom, and laser autofocus,

From the same source, Mate 2 will come with a dual-camera setup on the back, which is also created by Leica. It could also come with up to 6GB of RAM. Mate 2 was rumored to come in a 5.5-inch display with Kirin 960 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.6GHzs and 6GB of RAM.

Mate 9 may sport a 5.9-inch display with 1080p resolution with an octa-core 2.6GHz processor and pack with 4GB of RAM.

Meanwhile, Huawei attempted to set a new world record for the highest smartphone livestream ever, so the Chinese smartphone company put Honor 8 in a weather balloon and sent 30km up, Mirror UK reported.

Huawei Honor 8 was released in September, and the pre-order started in Aug. 17-Sept. 3. This device comes with 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 resolution display with HiSilicon Kirin 950 octa-core chip, and 4GB. Its internal storage: 32GB, 64GB, 256GB micro SD expansion.

When it comes to camera, it features 12-megapixel (rear), 8-megapixel (front). It has fast charging features as its battery is 3,000mAh.

There three colors available for Honor 8- blue, black, white. Its OS is Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and its USB is Type-C.
