Following the leaked features of Galaxy Note 7 just before its launching yesterday, another threat is heading its way to kill the newest launch smartphone of the popular Korean tech giant Samsung. As a giant telecommunication company in China, Huawei in partnership with its sister company Honor; will set the smartphone sector ablaze with its new 6.6-inch display smartphone they called Huawei Honor 8 to be released within this month.

The impressive features of Huawei Honor Note 8 could make the Galaxy Note 7 dead on arrival, according to Yahoo. When the two smartphones were compared, it was apparent that Honor Note 8 is better than Galaxy Note 7 when it comes to specs and price most especially.

Honor Note 8 Specs

Sporting in a 6.6-inch screen display, the newest smartphone has an underneath battery of 4,500 mAh and a memory of 4 GB RAM. It is the fastest smartphone around since it uses HiSilicon Kirin 955 SoC (paired with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU) instead of Exynos or Snapdragon processors which are more common, according to Yahoo. Honor Note 8 comes in 32, 64 and 128 GB phone memory with built-in finger print sensor.

Price

Since Huawei is known for manufacturing smartphones with flagship specs, Honor Note 8 will come in a much lower price compared to rival Galaxy Note 7. It's worth mentioning that 32 GB Galaxy Note 5 was sold for $700 and the 5.5 inch iPhone 6S Plus that was sold for $749 for its lowest-tier 16 GB, weaker battery and only half of the RAM of Huawei's Honor Note 8.

Huawei Honor Note 8 is sold at the price of $350.00 exclusive to China for the meantime; however, Huawei will have a special event in San Francisco on August 16, as reported by Tech Radar. It is expected for the Huawei Honor Note 8 to invade the US market. For now, there has no confirmation for similar events for Australian and UK markets.
