The last Captain America movie outing by Marvel was met with high praise, both from movie goers and film critics. People can't seem to get enough of Marvel's most recent movie masterpiece, so much so, that a great number of movie goers have seen it multiple times while it was still out in movie theaters. The box office numbers show this to be true, and even after - fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are still buzzing about Captain America: Civil War.

Well, good news to fans of the superhero franchise - Captain America: Civil War will have a home release date of September 2, 2016, according to HD Report. Home version of Captain America movie 3 will be available on digital release, blu-ray, and on DVD.
Fans of the digital format will be able to avail the film on a much earlier release of September 2nd.

Information regarding the home release's bonus features have also been unveiled, and will be giving fans an exclusive sneak peak at Marvel's next movie offering, Doctor Strange. Included are also what usually comes with home releases like Deleted Scenes, behind-the-scenes featurettes and the immensely entertaining gag reel. WhatCulture has some details and descriptions regarding the extra features.

Meanwhile fans are patiently waiting for Marvel's fir foray into the realm of mysticism and horror, Doctor Strange. This will be the first time that Marvel will be diving into the horror genre which certainly piqued fans' curiosity. However, this will not be the first time Marvel mashed-up genres with their superhero movies. James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy was called a superhero space opera. While Captain America: Winter Soldier, much to the delight of fans and movie critics felt like a Spy Thriller. With Marvel's track record of having firsts, many are quite optimistic that director Scott Derrickson's take on this Marvel legend would be worthy of the Sorceror Supreme's approval.

Captain America: Civil War will be made available on digital HD platforms and the Disney Movies Anywhere app on September 2, 2016, while the Blu-ray, DVD and VOD versions will be released on the September 13.

Marvel's Doctor Strange, directed by Scott Derrickson will astral project its way in movie theaters on November 2, 2016.
