"One Man Punch" revolves around the manga hero, Saitama. Now its second season is slated to be released this year. Despite confirmation from its makers are bleak and silent, new exciting plots and characters are coming up in the Season 2 of the Madhouse-backed action series.

"One Punch Man" Season 2 will roughly have 12 episodes basing on its web-comic which has nine volumes, Yibada reported. Conversely, producers of the animated-TV series are running short of resource requirement to run the series which probably causing delay to its release. Another thing, its storyline was still under changes to suit its massive audience. This change is probably the attempt of its makers to situate a civil war where the lead character Saitama gets caught up in Hero Association-Hero Hunters War.

Another interesting twist is Garou's ascension as the chief villain in the story, IB Times reported. His emergence as the arch villain is said to be driven by the skills he will learn in Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist from Fang-an, an S-Class Hero who takes an evil course. But Garou's character will not be the sole antagonist in the series, Lord Boros and Amai Mask will also return and get engage in a brutal confrontation with Saitama.

Then, "One Man Punch" Season 2's climax will be Saitama's battle with his own dark side. His will is rumored to get infected by evil sources which will take control of his being, a dangerous proposition and event for the people he cared for, Movie News Guide reported.

"One Man Punch" Season 2 already have roughly 100 sketches, 100 inked pages and 100 storyboards prepared by Manga Artist Yusuke. "One Man Punch" fan base are looking forward to the upcoming Anime Expo 2016 at Los Angeles on July 1 to 4. Natsume together with Saitama's voice artist Makoto Furukawa and the rest of the production team will be present. This suggests that further revelation or announcements will be up during the event. "One Punch Man" Season 2 is expected to be released on October 2016 or early 2017.
