Various rumors point towards the second half of 2016 as the perfect time for Apple 2016 MacBook Pro release. Before the WWDC 2016, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has already reported that Apple will be launching three new MacBook models by year's end which includes a thin and light 13-inch MacBook in the June to September and two thinner and lighter 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pros models in the September to December.

Considering that there could be three series of releases for the 2016 Macbook Pros, Apple may kick-off with the 13-inch MacBook Pro with rumors saying that metal injection mold-made hinges were being shipped for the said model. Then it will be followed by the 15-inch MacBook Pro. This MacBook Pro is expected to feature USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3, faster Intel Skylake processors and probably AMD's new 400-series Polaris graphic chips model, MacRumors reported. Similar updates might also come to the iMac lineup which will make Apple wait until Intel Kaby Lake Processors launch later in 2016.

Meanwhile, Apple is arranging some kind of changes to its MacBook lineup which might debut over the coming weeks. Whether MacBook Pro will have a new hardware, a spec revamp and price adjustments remain unclear, Apple Insider reported.

Amid reports saying that Apple will announce new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models within this month, Max Otakara said that that new MacBook Air will arrive at retailers by August. However, MacBook Pro 2016 release date for has not been confirmed, MacRumors said.

When the opportunity to announce the new MacBooks at WWDC 2016 was not realized, it only added further confusion on its release date. Some fans suggests that Apple make a non-WWDC announcement in June by way of press release in reference to new 12-inch MacBook launch in April, MarRumors added.

The 2016 MacBook Pro update is said to be the biggest development in Apple's pro-level notebook since the 2012 launch of its thinner Retina display models.
