Forge - Halo 5: Guardians for Windows 10

In an announcement, tech giant Microsoft divulged that Forge, the map editor for "Halo 5" is all set to make an appearance on Windows 10 PCs. This is a good news for "Halo" players who can now comfortably make their in-game masterpieces by using their keyboard and mouse.

However, they will have to wait till its released later this year.

But that's not all. According to reports on NDTV Gadgets, it will pack support for enhanced resolution encompassing 4K, aside from the ability to take on the assistance of their friends in order to test their maps.

Introducing Forge on the PC will finally bring the mouse and keyboard editing accuracy to the community that has been wanting this for a really long time. In addition, players will experience easier and faster inputs in Forge by virtue of an updated and advanced UI gear towards mouse interactions, Tom French, UGC Director at Halo 5 studio 343 Industries said in a post.

The Windows 10 edition of the Forge editor is dubbed " Forge - Halo 5: Guardians Edition for Windows 10" simply because it will boast features that will be exclusively available on Windows 10 only.

These features include the aforementioned keyboard/mouse support, support for higher resolution, ability to test and play with friends and the ability to publish and play the levels built on Windows 10 on Xbox One.
