The leaked image of 'iPhone 7 battery' becomes trending news as it appears that the phone will have slightly bigger battery than the iPhone 6s'.  

The Chinese micro-blog Weibo, which happened to be the source of the image, shows that it has '7.04Wh' printed on the battery. The poster also specifies that it will include 1735 mAH capacity. If this is true, then the next iPhone generation will have a more powerful battery than the previous iPhone 6s that only has 6.61 Wh. As for the iPhone 7 Plus, the capacity is said to be 2810 mAh. The 9to5Mac claimed that the image shared online might be the actual battery capacity of the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

The design? Rumor has it that the design of iPhone 7 will also look similar to the previous generation but with thinner body. If there is any huge leap on the chassis design, it could likely be happening to iPhone 8 next year.

Despite battery boost, iPhone is expected to have its features upgraded; from processor to hardware. After all, battery boost has to be in balance with the software and hardware integrated in the phone. For the record, iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are not having many upgrades but a constant battery power.

Larger battery = longer life?

It is unconfirmed yet. However it might have new-built components. Apple would want to maintain its efficiency without any negative impact especially when previous iPhone generation aims to keep the power up to 10 hours. Hence, this might be applied to iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

Before the iPhone 7 battery rumors show up, University Herald has summarized some speculations regarding iPhone 7 and 7 Plus lacks. It will be waterproof, metal cased, and dual lens camera enhanced in iPhone 7 Plus.   

Another rumor worth confirming - fans are waiting for Apple to say "Yes" or "No".
