Nintendo Boosting Switch Production: 18 Million Consoles Before March 2018; ‘Monster Hunter XX’ Release Date Here [VIDEO]
Nintendo is ramping up the production on its most in demand gaming system, the Nintendo Switch. This decision is ahead of the anticipated increased Nintendo Switch demand during the 2017 holiday season. Nonetheless, the tech giant appears to be aiming to roll out at least 18 million units between May 2017 and March 2018.
For the record, the Nintendo Switch gaming system sold extremely great following its release in March. It's been very difficult to find Nintendo's latest console in stores before they sell out, The Verge reported.
The Japanese video game company already boosted the Nintendo Switch production order in March. Nintendo chiefs have ordered that the company will produce at least 18 million Nintendo Switch consoles between May 2017 and March 2018.
Boosting up the number of the Nintendo Switch would absolutely help the consumer demand. Aside from that, the Japanese tech company has also seen a series of shortages with its latest console as well as its discontinued NES Classic.
This plan on Nintendo Switch production boost could mean that some gamers might expect to get their hands on the new device sometime this year. It has been said that there will be a physical and an online shop that will retail the Nintendo Switch.
On the other hand, during the Monster Hunter Championship this weekend, it was revealed that "Monster Hunter XX" launches on Nintendo Switch on August 25. This appears to be a good news for Nintendo 3DS owners, as Capcom made it known that the action role-playing video game would support cross-platform multiplayer between Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS, IGN reported.
The "Monster Hunter XX" video game features a new hub, two new hunter styles, a new difficulty setting and an additional monsters. The new monster hunting game is likely to give the Nintendo Switch console another boost in sales.
