Fall 2017 White House Internship Application Now Open: Here Are The Qualifications {VIDEO]

Applications for the Fall 2017 White House Internship Program is now open. The enrollment portal will be open until before midnight (EDT) on June 16. Anything received after 11:59 p.m. will not be considered.

According to The Covington News, the Fall 2017 White House Internship Program runs from September 6 to December 8. All applicants must be at least 18 years old by the program start date. Other qualifications will be discussed later in the article.

First, the White House Internship Program is a pre-graduation opportunity for students to work in the center of the American government. It is divided into three seasons such as summer, fall, and spring. Those selected will work in one of 16 available Presidential departments.

Aside from the chance to enter the Executive Office of the President, the White House Internship Program includes speaker series too. Tours to sites around Washington D.C., opportunities to volunteer in the community, and be present at special events are offered in the program as well.

Now, applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree. He or she could come from a college, a community college, or a university. Any two or four-year institution will do.

Next, if not enrolled anymore, the applicant could still be accepted in the Fall 2017 White House Internship Program if he or she has graduated from an undergraduate or graduate study at a college, community college, or university. The date of graduation, though, must not be more than two years before the internship start date.

Lastly, a veteran of the United States Armed Forces who has a high school diploma could also apply. Do note his or her service in active duty, for any length of time, must be two years preceding the internship start date too. The applicants will be selected based on their commitment to public service, leadership, and loyalty to the Donald Trump Administration.
