‘Dragon Ball Super’ Universal Survival Arc May Lead To Gohan’s Rude-Awakening; New Episodes Sets Gohan’s Spotlight [VIDEO]

"Dragon Ball Super" Universal Survival arc has a slow build up in its storyline and quite unpredictable back stories. However, the boring curse of the show is on the verge of fading since synopsis from episode 88 and episode 89 unfolds many secrets ahead of the Tournament of Power. With Universe 7 at risk, some previous heroes are stepping up to save the Earth.

In "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 88, Gohan came back to training with his Master Piccolo. The young dad was previously the strongest Saiyan in the past during the Cell Saga. His milieu in battlefront and close fighting but faded in time after retiring at an early age.

Gohan's participation in the Universal Survival arc was hyped before the series premier in February. The talks quickly died when the introduction of new gods of destructions was introduced while some dismissed the idea. However, "Dragon Ball Super" Synopsis for Episode 88 suggest otherwise, ComicBook reported.

According to "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 88 Synopsis, Gohan might a have a rude awakening this season. This follows the direct danger which the Omni Kings imposed to losing universes in the multiverse martial arts tournament.

The "Dragon Ball Super" Synopsis says that Gohan will essentially make a comeback for Universe 7 to win the Tournament of Power. In order to do so, he has to sharpen his faded skills through one-on-one training with Piccolo. It added that Gohan could summon even more power in "Dragon Ball Super" than he had in the past, ComicBook added.

Meanwhile, "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 89 is quite the filler episode. This time, Goku is set to recruit Master Roshi and Tien Shinhan at the same time. But this time he will catch trouble with a sassy troublemaker.

"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 89 has welcomed a new female character named Yurin. The young lady could make things difficult for Goku to recruit Roshi and even create ruckus at Tien's training studio.
