New details for "Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey" was recently revealed by Atlus on the game's Japanese official website. This was done to reveal the new additions to the game, including a new story.

In this reality and on a future earth, a ruined land suddenly appeared in the Antarctic called Schwarzwelt. To everyone's dismay, it continued to expand while swallowing everything in its path until almost everything is gone, according to the official website of "Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey."

The current situation seemed to mark the end of humankind if they did not do anything about it. A Strike Team was sent to this mysterious land to investigate and find a solution to this enormous threat. The team discovers a truth that will illuminate what the unknown land really is and what kind of threat they are all facing.

The new "Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey," which will be exclusive on the Nintendo 3DS, will have a new female character called Alex. She is a mysterious girl who suddenly attacks the hero of the video game while the Strike Team explores the ruined land, reported Gematsu.

The new 3DS game will have new demons aside from the new character Alex. Other characters in it will also have newly added facial expressions, and with the help of the Atlus Design Team, the main story will be fully voiced. New background songs will be added as well from the Atlus Sound Team.

The original story of the video game still remains, but there will be a new story introduced in it with the new female character that will lead to the new ending. Battles have been improved further with the new skills and growth elements added to the gameplay. Players will also be able to save anywhere in the dungeon this time around.

"Persona 5" Japanese Audio Track Free DLC File Size Revealed

In other Atlus related news, upcoming "Persona 5" will have a Japanese audio track free DLC for consumers to download. The DLC file size is 2.9GB, which is fairly a large sized download for a Japanese audio track, according to the official PlayStation Store page of the video game.
