Close

The University of Houston is continuing its string of big names when it comes to their commencement speakers as it finally announced that Arnold Schwarzenegger will be the one to deliver the commencement speech for the 2017 spring graduation ceremony.

According to Houston Business Journal, the university confirmed March 21 that this year's speaker would be the actor, former governor of California and philanthropist, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The said university-wide commencement is going to be held on May 12, at 10 in the morning, at the TDECU Stadium. The ceremony will also be available for live streaming on UH's website.

The photo of Schwarzenegger was posted on the school's Twitter account with the following caption:

"The Terminator. The Governor. The Philanthropist. Our 2017 Commencement speaker. @Schwarzenegger. Hasta la vista, Coogs. May 12."

This tweet, according to the Chron, has made many students and parents alike go crazy.
