Bethesda is once again on the hot seat, the Rockville, Maryland-based company is reportedly working on a new mobile game. The company this week teased a new Bethesda mobile gaming project, and fans are speculating that this has something connected to the popular role-playing game "The Elder Scrolls" series.

Bethesda Plans A New Mobile Game

Despite only having one mobile game in the wild, Bethesda has managed to find early success in the more complex mobile gaming space. The company's post-apocalyptic spin-off "Fallout Shelter," which said to be one the most played Fallout game ever, has claimed over five million dollars in just two weeks of market availability and that game still going strong without any sign of slowing down.

According to GameRant, which got full details of the mobile game story, Fallout Shelter was the first mobile game that Bethesda has ever created and it won't be the last. Bethesda game director Todd Howard confirmed the reports that Bethesda planning a new mobile gaming project in the future. Fans believe that the planned mobile game has something connected to "The Elder Scrolls" series.

Last year, Bethesda's Todd Howard has revealed to the world that the studio is making more mobile games. But in a recent interview with GameSpot, Howard recalled the huge success of the mobile game "Fallout Shelter" and teased the developer's upcoming mobile title.

So, why Bethesda is going mobile again? Based on the company's "Fallout Shelter" experience, it's quite easy to see why Bethesda is entering the mobile game. The mobile hit "Fallout Shelter" shows the whole story about this. The game has proved to be a huge success for the company, boosting a massive userbase of over 50 million registered players on board.

For now, it still not clear on what the new mobile project is based around on the old franchise Elder Scrolls series or something new.

Bethesda To Bring Skyrim To Nintendo Switch

In other Bethesda-related news, Bethesda has plans to bring its acclaimed RPG "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" to the hybrid console. This marks the first time a game in the Elder Scrolls series has been released on the Nintendo platform.

The Maryland-based company is one of the few numbers of game publishers that signed up to port their own games to the upcoming hybrid game console, Switch. The hybrid console is scheduled to launch this coming March 3.

In an interview with GameSpot, Bethesda's Todd Howard has talked more about Nintendo and has spoken out to praise Nintendo's new hybrid system, saying that it was a very smart platform. Howard even went on to say that Nintendo has been a very good partner and that the latest partnership represents a huge improvement over the two companies' relationship.

However, like many other developers in the market today, Howard is still not sure if the upcoming Nintendo Switch will make a huge hit in the gaming world.Skyrim will be released on the hybrid console this fall. However, there still no exact date for the game release, Bethesda is yet to announce an official statement about this.
