"Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash" is coming to the PlayStation 4 and will be released in Asian and Western countries according to the developers Marvelous.

"Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash" is the fifth iteration of the series and it is a third person shooter using water guns for gameplay. The game is played in tournament style wherein the shinobi's of the game are not allowed to use their skills in fighting, referencing to the other iterations of the game. The company decided to release the game outside Japan after conducting an overview of the company's financial reports, Crunchyroll reported.

The play arena of "Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash" from what can be seen in the trailer of the game is set in a water park and a beachfront. There are three modes to the game: Midsummer Battle, 5-vs-5 Team Battles, and Network Battles. Midsummer Battle is held in what is described as a "Peach Beach Splash" wherein a free for all battle between 30 girls will unfold. As an added bonus, side stories of the girls' everyday lives are shown.

5-vs-5 Team Battles in "Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash" as the name implies is a tournament wherein the girls are grouped into teams of five. The team who first drenches their opponents with water wins. It is advised that players target their opponent's chest and buttocks.

"Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash" Network Battles is where players can engage in battles online. Players can customize their characters and water guns, organize themselves to a group of up to 10, and play together in team battles, Gematsu reported.

There are initially five types of water guns in "Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash." Alongside the release of the introduction video for the game, Marvelous also released short videos of the five types of water guns shown below.

It is not yet known if new weapons will be added to the game later on, but for now, "Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash" has Assault Rifle, Gatling Gun, Grenade Launcher, Single Handgun, and Shower Water Guns.

"Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash" will be released for the PlayStation 4, initially in Japan on March 16. Asian and western markets release date will be announced later.
