Since the "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" ended, fans have been wondering whether the anime series would be continued. Nevertheless, the director is letting fans of the series to know that a new anime is rolling out in 2018.

Wit Studio collaborated with director Tetsurō Araki to create the "Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress" season 2. The season 1 of the anime series rolled out last April 2016, Comic Book reported.

The gritty, horror series follows a humanity after a strange virus transmute most of mankind into undead monsters, called Kabane. Kabane are aggressive creatures that cannot be defeated unless the glowing heart (protected by a layer of iron) is pierced.

Meanwhile, the "Attack on Titan" season 2 is slated to hit the small screen on April. The anime's animation director, Arifumi Imai, pitched in a small glimpse of the series.

The animation director hit on Twitter to share a black and white photo that features Eren. The Titan form of the "Attack on Titan" character is looming over the brave soldier, who sported a scouting gear.

Nonetheless, not much can be taken away from the Twitter image with regard to the plot for season 2, but it sure is exciting seeing bits of the "Attack on Titan" season 2 before its release. The latest video trailer unleashed by Funimation and Kodansha Comics features the two titans, and the roles of the characters in the series should be looked forward to by fans.

On the other hand, film studio Warner Bros. wants to make a movie based on the "Attack on Titan" manga series, which will be produced by David Heyman. Warner Bros. is currently negotiating to acquire the feature rights of the manga series from Kodansha, Deadline reported.

Nevertheless, a Kodansha representative is denying the alleged negotiations between Warner Bros. and the publisher. The representative said that the report is incorrect and there are a number of works where negotiations are advancing for film adaptations.
