Just like the first game in the franchise, "The Last of Us 2" video game will not be shying away from personal topics and issues. Wherein, head writer Neil Druckmann hit on his Twitter account to reveal the reason why.

Video games as a whole usually avoid making biased statements when it comes to issues in the real world. Nonetheless, The upcoming action-adventure survival horror game was quick to choose sides when it came to intimate issues. "The Last of Us 2" video game contained its own point of view towards the in-game as well as the real life world.

Creator Druckmann confirmed that the highly-anticipated "The Last of Us 2" will still comprise forms of personal politics, according to Attack of the Fanboy. On Twitter, Druckmann defended his stance after a game enthusiast complained that he did not like how political the original video game was. The aficionado then urged the head writer to tone down that specific theme in the "The Last of Us 2."

Nonetheless, Druckmann promptly refused through a tweet and told the fan that writers find inspiration from their views of the world and that the finale of the original "The Last of Us" video game was inspired by Druckmann's own personal politics. The first title was a very personal project to Druckmann, as the writer was extremely involved in nearly every development process.

That being said, there isn't any confirmed release date for the upcoming "The Last of Us 2" video game as of the moment. The upcoming action-adventure survival horror game is in its very early stages, Video Games Republic reported.

In spite of that, "The Last of Us 2" takes place five years after the original title. Players may also be able to control the lead playable role Ellie in the sequel.
