Huawei is taking over the MWC 2016 in Barcelona. The event is happening on Feb 26, 2017, Sunday at 2 PM local time. The Taiwanese tech giant has given away invitations to different press and tech outlets to cover their event. This showcase is one of the most anticipated segments most likely because it is going to Huawei P10 official launch.

The company's CEO Richard Yu will be hosting the Huawei P10 launch, Pocket-Lint reported. An open invitation like this happens when a flagship phone is being announced for its official release date. The unveiling is exciting because P10 specs will finally be revealed.

So what can we expect from the P10 launch at MWC 2017? According to GSMArena, P10 will sport a dual-curved IPS Display of Quad HD resolution for a more realistic screen experience. The latest Kirin 960 Chipset will run the P10. Huawei's previous accomplishment in P9 series is the fast and clear phone function and surely P10 will beat P9's record with the new Kirin processor. The RAM expands to Huawei's first 6GM. Meanwhile, Leica is back with a dual-sensor camera technology.

Huawei-Leica camera is arguably the best in 2016. This 2016 expect an even better snapper. P10 selfie camera is 12MP while the back shooter uses the dual-sensor used in Mate 9. Leica will introduce 20MP+12MP setup to P10. However, these reports are not confirmed yet. The phone's 5.5-inch chassis will be backed by glass, AndroidCentral added.

Unlike its predecessor, P10 reportedly ditch the Plus variant. For the meantime, Huawei fans can just wait for the MWC 2017 Huawei segment to happen since it is just around the corner. In another news, Samsung's S8 is also expected to make its grand launch in Barcelona. However, there is no official invitation or announcement has been issued by the Korean company.
