Recent Leaks Differ from Last Month's

The new images of the speculated Redmi Note 4X is not the same with the earlier images that were shown in TENAA, where images of a Redmi Note 4X was certified by the Chinese electronics certification agency, Android Headlines reported. The images from TENAA showcased a smartphone with biometric sensor located on its back and only regular buttons. The new images in Weibo, on the other hand, sports a physical Home button that comes with embedded fingerprint scanner.

Besides the fingerprint scanner, almost everything else in the images coincides with each other. Though TENAA didn't label its images as the "Redmi Note 4," it has a lot of similarities with the earlier rumors about the phone's specs, GSM Arena reported.

Features and Specs Revealed

Meanwhile, there are earlier rumors claiming that the new Redmi Note 4X will have a 5.5-inch screen with 1080p display. It is also rumored to run with the Snapdragon 653.

Xiaomi's upcoming phone is also speculated to have 4GB RAM and a total memory capacity of 32GB and 64GB worth of internal storage. The device supports micro SD cards to expand its memory capacity, which is an advantage for people who carries with them big amounts of media files.

The new Redmi Note 4X is expected to replace the Redmi Note 3, which is a best-seller in India. Xiaomi is not allowed to market its standard-issue Redmi Note 4 in India due to an ongoing legal dispute against Swedish tech company Ericsson. These circulating speculations and rumors will soon be cleared as the new Redmi Note 4X is expected to be officially unveiled soon.
