Nintendo NES Mini Classic Edition Update: Last Chance To Buy Units; Find Out Where To Buy Them [VIDEO]

By

Nintendo's NES Mini Classic Edition was sold out even before the stocks landed on US soil. Fortunately, there is still a chance that you could get one of these things on December 20.

Store Retailers Getting Limited Stocks

Retailers have sold out their initial Nintendo NES mini classic edition stock ages ago. Fortunately, Best Buy will have a few units left for the buying public on December 20. The store doesn't have much left so you should hurry as soon as they open up.

If you are thinking of simply buying the mini NES online don't, according to Forbes. They are not available on the web which means you need to buy them the old fashioned way. Go to the physical store and get it yourself. In order to get one though, you need to be at the store's entrance before it opens up and outrun your rivals.

Online Units Available But...

People could still find these Nintendo NES mini classic edition online but only on eBay, according to The Sun. Resellers are willing to sell them for at least $200 to $300 if you are lucky. For those willing to spend that much dough this is the only alternative online.

Why So Few Stocks?

Nintendo could have hit a gold mine with its NES mini classic edition. Unfortunately, the Japanese game maker made only several thousands of them. Company officials were probably surprise by the deluge of demand for these game machines. What started as a novelty offering suddenly became a craze in which the meager supply could not satisfy the huge demand. Nintendo is busy with the upcoming Switch right now which is why it could not make more. Those who missed the chance the buy the mini NES this year can try their luck next year. Hopefully, the next batch will have more games included and feature more improvements.
