Moto G4, G4 Plus, G4 Play Get Official Price Cut, Amazon Discounts

Motorola officially announced that two of its devices, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus, are getting a price cut through its website, so that potential buyers can experience its upcoming latest Android Nougat firmware. Also, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Play received discounted prices in Amazon India.

On Motorola's official website, the Moto G4 now sells for $179.99 while Moto G4 Plus model is offered at $199.99. The new price listing allows buyers to save $20 and $50 from their original prices, International Business Times reported.

Meanwhile, Amazon has also opened its own discounted offers for the said Motorola smartphones. However, the devices under this offer will have Amazon's lock screen ads and apps pre-loaded.

Accordingly, Moto G4's 16GB storage variant is available at $129.99 against the original price of $ 199.99 while the 32GB storage model is available at $139.99 against the original price of $229.99.

The Moto G4 Plus 32GB ROM variant in 2 GB of RAM is priced at $199.99 against the original price of $250, and the 64GB option supported by 4GB of RAM pegs at $229 against the original price of $299.99.

On the other hand, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Play smartphones received discounted prices on Amazon India, NDTV reported. Both the 16GB and 32GB Moto G4 variants were offered in flat Rs. 2,000 discount, while the Moto G4 Play is discounted in Rs. 1,000 through an Amazon Gift Card.

Both the 16GB and 32GB Moto G4 variants in Black and White colour options are also currently being sold for a discounted price of Rs. 10,499 and Rs. 11,999 respectively. The Moto G4 variants come with the Reliance Jio Welcome Offer packed inside and an additional E-book credit of Rs. 300.

The Moto G4 is packed with impressive specs such as 5.5-inch touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (401-403 ppi pixel density), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It also features a 2GB of RAM, a 13MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash, a 5MP front-snapper with f/2.2 aperture, and a 3,000mAh with a Turbo charger.

Moto G4 Plus sports a 5.5-inch display with 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, and a 2/3GB RAM.

Among its added features are its 16MP main camera with OmniVision Pure Cel Plus sensor, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and dual-LED flash, a 5MP camera with wide-angle lens, and a 3,000mAh with Turbo charger.
