If tech fans are on the lookout for a latest laptop, and is considering to get a new Mac, Apple's latest MacBook Pro and MacBook Air are excellent choices. Here's a guide on how to choose the laptops.

The MacBook Air was the Cupertino-based tech giant's slimmest and lightest laptop offering. Meanwhile, Apple's latest MacBook Pro lineage was bigger, which was made to match the laptop's bulky internals. However, the tech company's 2016 variants presents the new MacBook Pro era.

The MacBook Pro 15-inch model, which automatically rolls out with the innovative Touch Bar, is able to smoothly edit 5K ProRes video on Final Cut Pro X. The new MacBook Pro unit runs faster compared to its Windows rivals, which comes along with superior specifications, Apple Insider reported.

Anyway, in terms of weight of the latest MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, the smaller MacBook Pro weighs 20 grams heavier compared to the MacBook Air. Apple built both MacBook models using the tech company's signature aluminum body. The MacBook Pro comes in two colors, silver and space gray, while the MacBook Air will only be available in silver.

The new MacBook Pro is packed with advanced display resolution with a 2560 x 1600 227, while the MacBook Air will have a 1440 x 900 128 pixels per inch (PPI) offering.

That being the case, the first wave of the Touch Bar equipped MacBook Pros have started shipping to customers for delivery next week. While the tech company is quoting the Nov. 16 as the estimated delivery date, the United Parcel Service (UPS), the world's largest package delivery company, made it known that some customers can expect their new MacBooks on Nov. 14.

The delivery estimates of the new MacBooks are a couple of days earlier than expected. Thus far, most of the MacBook Pros that have started shipping are the 15-inch models and custom orders, according to MacRumors.
