Earlier, the game publisher has also announced a new character, revealed as Mitsuki, to be added with Boruto and Sarada. The three members will get a new Team Ultimate Jutsu attack that will combine some of their Ninjutsu arts and skills.

In the expansion pack, Mitsuki will possess unique attack skills as well as the Ultimate Jutsu, similar to his father that makes him a valuable team member. Boruto and Sarada were previously confirmed to arrive with the expansion pack. Through their Ninjutsu arts and skills, the team sure will be a force to be reckoned with.

Along with the new character, the new expansion will introduce a storyline that features the arc of Boruto and Sarada. The Hidden Leaf Village location will also add new areas for players to explore, along with presentation of familiar scenes like the battle between Sasuke and Kinshiki from the anime movie.

According to iDigitalTimes, the "Road to Boruto" expansion will only come to the PS4 in February as part of a physical and digital re-release of the game, which includes the new expansion and all three DLC packs, also expected in February.

The Road to Boruto expansion in Japan will be offered in a physical release, a digital download release, and a DLC expansion release.

The physical and download release will contain the full "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" game, including all the previous three DLC releases for the main game, as well as the "Road to Boruto" expansion.

In addition, the DLC expansion release is intended for players already playing the original game, but wishes to add the new expansion into their content. As an added feature, players of all versions will be able to transfer their save files to the new expansion.
