‘Tokyo Ghoul’ Season 3 Update, Spoilers: Touka Sporting New White Hair Look? [VIDEO]

By

"Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 will start with Touka and her current difficulties. There are rumors that she might be sporting a new white hairdo after the season's premiere show.

Touka Is Going To College

The first episode of "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 will start with Touka applying in three Colleges namely Duke, Kamii and To-Oh University. Unfortunately, her chances of entering even one of them are pretty slim. She is not that dumb but the entrance exams are quite tough especially for a ghoul like her, according to animemaru.

Duke University is located in the US and studying abroad would be nice for Touka. Unfortunately, ghouls are not welcomed to stay in that country. Touka confessed that she does not even like Kamii and the only reason she wants to go there is because of Kaneki. However, without him, Touka does not see the wisdom in going there anymore. The essay test in To-Oh was also dismal which does not bode well for her acceptance in that University.

Will Touka's Hair Turn White?

The "Tokyo Ghoul" animation director would not confirm if Touka will have a new white hair at the end of the first episode for Season 3. But there are indications that this may happen. First the "Tokyo Ghoul" anime writer warned that the third installment will be the most psychologically disturbing season compared to the previous two. Madhouse is also taking over Studio Pierrot in producing "Tokyo Ghoul". The former is known for churning out anime shows that are quite dark and only fit for mature minds.

This means that Touka may exhibit more of her Ghoulishness and one of the ways is turning one's hair to white. The writer also said that there are some grisly scenes in the first episode involving Touka that it might be censored. Of course, this is simply speculation and will be confirmed once the first episode of "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 is shown the latter part of 2016.
