The big reveal will finally come on Nov. 3 when Huawei Mate 9 makes its debut in Munich, Germany. Latest leak confirms 6GB RAM for 256GB Internal Storage models. The flagship smartphone will carry Huawei's new HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC octa-core processor along with a Mali-G71 MP8 GPU.

With this latest leak, it seems RAM is now 6GB from the initial 4GB for the 256GB models. Other rumored inner workings of the Huawei Mate 9 is apparently accurate. First off, there will be three variants of the smartphone depending on the size of its internal storage. Variants come with the standard 4GB of RAM and will feature 64 GB, 128 GB, and the top-of-the-line unit with 6GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage.

Prior to the latest Weibo leak, it was also reported that the Huawei Mate 9 will sport a 5.9-inch QHD screen with a resolution of 1440 X 2560 which some say is a high-resolution overkill, not quite so if the aim is to maximize its potential for Daydream VR.

It was also rumored that the Huawei Mate 9 will also tag its big brother along according to DigitalTrends. The high-end model Huawei Mate 9 Pro will come with a curved screen that will directly compete with the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge. High-end models of the Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box wrapped in Huawei's Emolition UI 5.0 (EMUI).

The cameras of the Huawei Mate 9 also comes into better focus with a rumored 20-megapixels dual camera and dual sensor Leica setup with 4X Zoom with optical image support (OIS). The front camera was initially reported to be 8-megapixels while others claim it at 12-megapixels.

What's new is a mention of a fingerprint scanner that will unlock the unit and touted to also work with online mobile payments. The leak also mentions of multiple ranges of colors to choose from, black for the premium units, white, brown, gray, pink, and gold.

There is no reported pricing range for the unit, yet Slash Gear speculates, that it can range from $480 for the 64GB model to $550 for the 128GB for the Mate 9. Huawei Mate 9 Pro would cost considerably more for the high-end model with maxed out specs reportedly to cost $1,300.
