The 2017 variant of the Samsung Galaxy A3 gets Bluetooth Certification. The mid-range smartphone is rumored to come with an octa-core CPU and will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

It is confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy A3 got Bluetooth Certification after being spotted by the benchmarking site GFXBench. The unit was also identified in Zauba, India's import/export tracking website, GSMArena reported. The certification clearly indicated the model number as SM-A320F which is the A3 2017's model number. The unit is now certified by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) as of Oct. 28.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) is expected to be launched along with Samsung's new range of handsets in a few weeks. The device is said to offer 2GB of RAM up to 8GB of internal memory. Users are saying that the 8GB of internal memory might be a mistake since the first and second generations of A3's both have 16GB of internal memory onboard. There is no way to confirm this as of the moment until the official specs of the device are released by Samsung.

Screen: The screen is a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels and is 5 finger Gesture Control Touch-Screen.

Processors: Rumored to carry a 1.5Ghz Octa Core Cortex-A53 Processor with Mali-T830MP2 GPU

Camera: Rumored to pack a 12MP or 13 MP rear camera with full HD support and the front camera is 5MP.

Memory & Storage: It is rumored to carry 2 GB of RAM. The A3 (2017) is rumored to have only 8GB of internal memory built in. Previous models of the Samsung Galaxy A3 has 16GB internal storage onboard expandable up to 256GB via microSD.

SIM: Like its predecessors, the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) will support dual-SIM as well as micro-SIM.

Battery: The smartphone is expected to pack a 2300 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery.

OS: Reported to run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow upgradable to Android Nougat.

Price: No official price for the unit has been released but as a mid-range device, the price should be about $275, according to c|net
