Samsung Galaxy Note 7 fiasco has been slowly going down the drain as the South Korean tech giant is heading towards another powerful smartphones in 2017. Leaks that are pointing out to the Galaxy S8 just prove that Samsung has the balls to defeat Apple in terms of smartphone innovations.

Galaxy S8 Specs

Galaxy S8 leaked specs have been circulating the internet lately. The latest was showing the phone's full specs and features that include the battery capacity, GPU and display according the report of BGR.

The leaked list of specs showed Galaxy S8 battery capacity rate of 4200 mAh - shocking enough to be considered as a monster smartphone. The leaked specs also pointing out a 6GB of RAM, Snapdragon Qualcomm Octa-Core 3.2 GHZ, 64GB and 128GB expandable internal storage associated with the latest version of Android.  

According to the leaked specs, Galaxy S8 is enable for 4K display with a 4096 x 2160 screen resolution featured in a 5.2" screen size. The phone is said to be wrapped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Furthermore, 4G LTE and Bluetooth 5.0 are expected in the connectivity aspect. The newest smartphone is believed to have a built-in fingerprint scanner, retina eye scanner and mini projector. Wireless charging is the newest innovation noted in Galaxy S8.

For the camera, 9MP for the front and 30MP for the rear that comes along with optical image stabilization, geo tagging, HDR, facial recognition and auto laser focus. Galaxy S8 is rumored to come in four color variants -black, blue, gold and white.

The most talked about feature of Galaxy S8 is its VR support that will stream in a 4K screen which eventually led to the increment of its graphics chipsets capacity according to Forbes. In addition, VR feature is said to be the secret weapon of Galaxy S8 against other tech giants 2017 mobile flagships.

Release Date

Following the global recall of Galaxy Note 7, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S8 and S8 EDGE earlier than the pre-scheduled date to make up for the loss. The 2017 flagship has a price tag of $850.
