Big things are coming to "Sense8" Season 2, as the threat against the sensates is bigger, while their own individual problems also put a lot of tension on the drama.

In "Sense8" Season 2, the sensates band together to defeat the mysterious Whispers, portrayed by Terrence Mann in Season 1. What's more, all eight main characters became closer together and their lives became more and more intertwined.

"Lito's problems become Riley's problems become Nomi's problems - it's this beautiful tapestry," actor Brian J. Smith told Buzzfeed. "The show is so much more interconnected this year. There's very rarely a scene that someone will have in their home city where someone else doesn't get folded in from the cluster."

Now that their bond as a cluster has grown stronger, there's a lot of excitement surrounding the development of their individual relationships with one another. In particular, Kala and Wolfgang's romance in "Sense8" Season 1 drew in a lot of attention.

While most of the other sensates maintained a platonic relationship, Kala and Wolfgang saw each other differently. They fell in love, despite Kala's status as a woman set to be married and Wolfgang being a troubled soul struggling to survive in his city.

There are speculations, however, that their romantic liaison will not blossom in "Sense8" Season 2. In the official "Sense8" Instagram page, a photo of Kala and her fiancé Rajan posing happily together was posted.

Fans may recall that in Season 1, Kala was not very enthusiastic about her engagement with Rajan and she seemed like she only went through with it to make her family happy. However, it appears that there will be changes in the sophomore season, and Kala might develop feelings for Rajan.

She confirmed a love triangle with her, Rajan, and Wolfgang in an interview. "There's also the love story that continues with both boys," actress Tina Desai stated.

Aside from this brewing love triangle, it is rumored that there's another threat coming between Kala and Wolfgang's relationship. Sikander Kher is reportedly portraying Rajan's younger brother in "Sense8" Season 2, and the character is said to be obsessed with Kala and will do anything to win her heart.

"Sense8" Season 2 will premiere in December 2016.
