Also, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." earned back Marvel fans trust by including "Inhumans" in their stories alongside other famous characters.

Marvel's television head and "Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D." executive producer Jeph Loeb said that bringing in O'Mara into the cast has forced everyone to reexamine the roles that each one play in the agency. Loeb added that O'Mara has the acting dynamics and physical presence that challenge the agent's even the the most loyal of them, Marvel reported.

Many Marvel fans, on the other hand, speculated that "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." was preparing for MCU's film on "Inhumans." Unfortunately, the movie is rumored to not make the big screen anytime soon. While the film is reported to be cancelled by the movie production company, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is given the freedom to showcase more "Inhumans" than they previously had.

During SDCC 2016, executive producers Maurissa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon announced that the cancellation of "Inhumans" movie affected "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." along with other Marvel  TV universe shows. Whedon announced that their show "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." has the free opportunity to include more classic "Inhumans" characters. He continued by stating that the show will return to focus more on the story of "Inhumans."

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." has been telling the stories of "Inhumans" during the previous seasons. The show's Season 2 dealt with Obelisk discovering Terrigenesis and learning about the Afterlife home of "Inhumans."

Meanwhile, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 3 centered on the story of the "Secret Warriors" while S.H.I.E.L.D. attempted to bring in as much transformed "Inhumans" as possible. "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." also confirmed during the SDCC interview that the show will add "Ghost Rider" played by Gabriel Luna. Based on what to expect for Season 4 and Whedon's announcement, this is exactly what he meant when he claimed they have more freedom with the "Inhumans" story.

Still, many fans of Marvel Comics were disappointed when they found out that the "Inhumans" movie was cancelled. However, Marvel fan's favorite "Inhumans" characters will be seen on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." very soon, Comic Book Resources reported. "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 premieres on a new time slot 10 p.m. EST on September 20, 2016.
