Texting with emojis to tell a story or express yourself just got more interesting! There's an emoji for nearly every emotion, object, animal and popular hobby; with latest ones like bacon, a pregnant woman and a fist bump just added to Unicode 9.

The American entertainment giant, Disney has just joined the emoji craze by unveiling the "Disney Emoji Blitz" app, bringing to users an array of awe-inspiring Disney-themed icons. The app is not just an emoji keyboard as it also packs a gaming component.

How do we obtain these emojis? Simply download their new app on iOS or Android.

  • Match emojis and score big points to unlock brand-new characters.
  • Collect over 400 Disney and Pixar items and emoji characters.
  • Blast the board with expressive emoji super powers, and combos.
  • Play missions to beef up your score and earn prizes.
  • Challenge high scores of your friends.
  • Share your collected emojis through the Emoji Blitz keyboard.

The game is identical to "Bejeweled" or "Candy Crush." In order to earn points, a player must pair at least three of the like characters and remove them from the board, TechTimes reported.

The emoji keyboard flaunts a slew of icons; however users do not have access to the entire keyboard database right from the start. A match-three game enables users to earn enough points to unlock other emojis.

As far as the emojis are concerned, they are quite diversified - from "Finding Dory" characters to "The Little Mermaid" - The creative team came up with designs for each emoji by observing Unicode emojis and incorporating features from vintage characters.

The designing team spent a lot of time researching, looking at Unicode emojis, the app's executive producer, Nacia Chambers told Mashable.

Taking into consideration how these popular platforms expressed all these different expressions, the team decided to work on "the Disney take on these."

The database of emojis is expected to grow gradually.

The app currently boasts more than 400 emojis from 33 different Disney and Pixar movies such as The Muppets, The Lion King, Cinderella, Toy Story and Frozen. The emojis range from characters, popular items, Disney theme park items and settings.
