In the anticipation of the "Star Wars Rebels" panel at Star Wars Celebration in London, Lucasfilm gave away the first clip and image from Season 3 of the American animated series.

The American animation director - Dave Filoni, unveiled the new footage of the animated series during this week's episode of "The Star Wars Show," which also features an interview with the Rogue One helmer - Gareth Edwards. The clip of the "Star Wars Rebels" begins at the 3:39 and includes new lightsaber of Ezra Bridger.

The new image of the human male Jedi Padawan - Ezra, which was voiced by Taylor Gray, was also revealed - showcasing the character's new look for the third season of the Rebels, IGN reported.

The clip publicly display how Ezra made a decision on the fly, barking orders and effortlessly taking out the main ground force of the Galactic Empire - Stormtroopers. It also shows Ezra's new look and his hair is now short.

While Ezra's last lightsaber, which was destroyed at the end of season two, was also a blaster, it looks like the human male Jedi Padawan's new saber is much more traditional, based on the report of Tech Times.

However, if a "Star Wars" fan is lucky enough to be present at the Star Wars Celebration, that person will be witnessing a lot more from Filoni and "Star Wars Rebels," which includes the season 3 premiere and one additional episode.

Most details of the animated series have been under wraps since the season 2 finale. But when "Star Wars Rebels" returns this Fall, people will soon unveil the fates of Darth Maul, Ahoska and Darth Vader, according to Screen Rant.

A panel for the animated series will be held at Star Wars Celebration on July 16, during which Filoni will be joined by the "17 Again" actress Tiya Sircar and Sam Witwer (voice of Darth Maul), to share a partial view of what's ahead for the show in Season 3.
