Bruce Jenner Calls Kanye West Out for 'Not Being Around'

Bruce Jenner, joined by his son Brody, told "Extra" host Maria Menounos that he had only met his stepdaughter Kim Kardashian's boyfriend, rapper Kanye West, once.

Brody Jenner, who will join the cast of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" this season, told Menounos that he'd never met his stepsister's boyfriend.

"He's never ... he's not around," Bruce said. "He was in Paris the whole time writing, and he just hasn't been around."

"Kim says great things about him," Brody added. "And so does the entire family."

In April, 2012 when Kardashian and West first became linked together on the heels of Kim's split with Kris Humphries, Bruce told TMZ he was "not that excited" about his stepdaughter dating West.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Kim has reportedly spent time in Paris with West, the father of her child due next month, while he has been recording a new album. West has also spent time in the U.S with Kim and her family, but according to Bruce and Brody, not too much time.

West was seen briefly on the season premiere of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" Sunday during Kim's baby shower. He was accompanied by Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian's husband, and Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend.

Khloe told Ryan Seacrest on Friday that West felt weird being the only guy and Disick and Odom would likely bring him to the party. Still West's appearance on the show was brief.

Earlier reports of West's absence have been well documented and, according to ABC News, he was not present at the doctor's meeting in which Kim discovered she would be having a girl.

Khloe defended West further saying he was at other appointments where the doctor could not determine the baby's gender.

"The baby was always in a position where you couldn't tell the sex, and this time that you're going to see on the show, [Kanye] was in London or Paris," Khloe said. "He had a concert."

On Sunday's season eight premier Kim gushed over the news of her baby girl, due early July.

"I'm so excited we're having a girl. Who doesn't want a girl? They are the best and I know that's really what Kanye has always wanted. He wanted a little girl."
