As soon as the possibility of the "Grand Theft Auto 6" was realized, rumor mills started swirling a slew of speculations around the purported title's every details and release date.

In this series of speculations doing rounds, a recently surfaced report hint that "GTA 6" has unveiled a new map of the much-awaited action-adventure video game.

GTA 6 - Brand New Map Revealed

Although Rockstar Games has remained mum about "GTA 6" and has divulged no details whatsoever regarding the game until now, its mere existence is enough to stir conversations among GTA's huge fanbase.

Further adding to the hype surrounding the rumored game, GTA 5 Cheats reported that a new San Diego map has been added in to the game.

It was previously speculated that the new location for "GTA 6" would be London, giving the cold shoulder to the routine American location.

However, another report suggested San Diego could be the next potential "GTA 6" city. This report was in line with reports from several other tech publications that indicated that "GTA 6" stay well within American borders and will steer clear of any other location.

GTA 6 - Release Date

Despite several speculations surfacing online one after the other, "GTA 6" developers have neither accepted nor denied these rumors.

The latest rumor in the "GTA 6" release date series hint a 2018 launch for the rumored title from Rockstar Games.

However, a 2018 release date for GTA's next installment seems legit to a great extent, especially taking into consideration that "Grand Theft Auto" ideally has a five-year gap between games.

"GTA 5" was release on September 17, 2013 so indeed, there are chances of "GTA 6" hitting the shelves sometime in 2018, GameNGuide reported.

But not all "Grand Theft Auto" fans seem to agree.

Despite rumors hinting a 2018 release date for "GTA 6," a slew of other reports that have recently surfaced online hint the game could make an appearance sometime in 2020.

Neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two Interactive has divulged any sort of details regarding the rumored "GTA 6," nor have they teased its release date so far. Until the team behind the hit action-adventure video game confirms or denies these rumors, fans are recommended to take them with a grain of salt.

However, if there is any truth to the reports making rounds online, it looks like "GTA" fans are in for a really long wait for the game's next installment to be up for grabs.
