"GTA 5" fans didn't see this coming! A surprise update to the hit action-adventure video game has added a brand-new sports car for purchase along with a new round of missions dishing out cash and double PR.

The rather sweet-looking Pfister 811 is up for grabs from Legendary Motorsport for a whopping $1,135,000.

The turreted limo, Sovereign motorbike, Liberator monster truck, Karin Technical, the musket and tyre smoke for the Patriot, as well as masks are available for a discounted price.

As far as this weekend is concerned, the Independence Day content is back until July 11, along with an exclusive dedicated weekend, VG 24/7 reported.

Rockstar Games will introduce new ways for players to earn some cash this upcoming week, through the up-to-8-player Playlist featuring "Tour the Lake" (locked to the Sovereign motorbike), "Across the Wilderness" (locked to the Liberator monster truck), and "Road Tripping" (TDM).

Earlier this month, the studio unveiled the Grotti X80 Proto Supercar packed with Power Play Adversary Mode for GTA Online. In addition, two more cars are slated to be added to the fan-favorite title amidst some major content drops scheduled this summer.

Aside from launching Grand Theft Auto V's latest weekly event, Rockstar Games updated the title's multiplayer component with a latest mode earlier this month.

The just out GTA Online Adversary Mode dubbed, "Power Play" engage players in picking up powerups that are spread out all over the map and then using them to their advantage - these include Beasted, Zoned, Doped, Raging, Flipped and Dark, according a post by R*E on RockStarGames NewsWire.

Palyers can make use of one powerup at a time. The studio also divulged that there will be a crucial key component to how teams act jointly to take maximum advantage of what they have.

But that's not all. GTA 5 has further been updated this week as Rockstar Games rolled out brand-new DLC content, while still prepping more updates for release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
