Hugh Jackman Is Not 'Allowed' To Work With Angelina Jolie

By

For actors, it seems like the key to a happy and successful marriage is to not work with Angelina Jolie Pitt.

Deborra-Lee Furnes, actor Hugh Jackman's wife of nearly 20 years, told Australia's "Today" show her husband isn't "allowed" to co-star with the Hollywood siren.

"I've told his agent he's not allowed to work with Angelina," Furnes said during a joint interview with Jackman. "I'm sure she's lovely."

The Australian couple, who have two adopted children together, said picking the right partner is more than half the battle when it comes to sustaining a marriage.

"That's the deal with this business. If you get it right, if you pick the right partner, then, you traverse all those travails and challenges," Furness told the "Today how."

"We've managed to keep that," Jackman added, according to Entertainment Tonight. "Deb had a rule, never apart for more than two weeks."

Jackman, whose had sex scenes with Ashley Judd in "Someone Like You" and Nicole Kidman in "Australia,"  and a bevy of other actresses, met his wife on the set of his first professional acting job in 1995, where he was hired to play her love interest, The Huffington Post reported.

According to reports, Jolie met her husband Brad Pitt in 2004 on the set of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston. In early 2005, the co-stars were alleged to have begun an affair. Pitt divorced Aniston that same year.
