Tech fans and experts are expecting Apple Inc. to roll out several devices this year, such as the MacBook Pro 2017, iPhone 8, and the iPad Pro 10.5-inch variant. Also, Apple is expected to launch the highly anticipated iMac 2017. The iMac 2017 is so advanced that the tech company may launch the device with a Pro in its moniker.

The Cupertino based tech giant has officially confirmed that it will be releasing a high-end iMac this year. This has been confirmed by Apple's Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, Craig Federighi, as well as Apple's Marketing Head Phil Schiller. It has been said that the iMac 2017 is so advanced that it will be available with a Pro moniker.

Since the iMac series has not been refreshed for a couple of years, the tech company is expected to launch the iMac 2017 with new improvements. Tech critics are anticipating that the iMac 2017 will compete with similar devices like Microsoft's Surface Studio, Mobi Picker reported.

Nonetheless, Apple will likely unveil the iMac 2017 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017 event, which transpires from June 5 to June 9. Although there will be updates on some Apple products such as the iPhone and the Apple Smartwatch, the iMac 2017 is said to take the spotlight of the event. Software updates, such as iOS, watchOS, tvOS and macOS, are also expected to be released during the event, Blasting News reported.

Reports are claiming that the iMac 2017 will come with AMD's powerful Ryzen 7 processor. But, several reports are claiming that the iMac 2017 will be powered by Intel Kaby Lake instead.

Nevertheless, the iMac Pro is expected to come along with a server-grade hardware such as a 2TB of NVMe SSD and a 64GB of ECC RAM. The iMac 2017 and the iMac Pro will enter into production this month and will be released in the second half of this year.
