Apple could be rolling out new Mac notebooks based on Intel's latest processors later this year. According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the MacBook Pro 2017 could have a 13-inch and 15-inch variants, all of which will run on Intel's Kaby Lake Processors. The updated MacBook Pro 15-inch model is expected to have a 32GB of RAM.

The research of KGI Securities analyst Kuo made it known that the new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro variants could start mass production as early as July this year. But, it was not mentioned on how much memory these two MacBook Pro 2017 variants will carry.

Nonetheless, support for more RAM was one of the things that tech enthusiasts were expecting to land on the MacBook Pro 2017. Reports are claiming that support for that extra RAM on the MacBook Pro 2017 variants will definitely come, but it has been said that Apple fans may be disappointed by how much RAM the devices will have, TeleGiz reported.

The Kaby Lake parts that will go up to 16GB of RAM and support 32GB would require a new RAM controller or even wait for the arrival of the Canon Lake chipset. If the MacBook Pro 2017 would have a 32GB of RAM variant, this particular configuration would definitely be appreciated by professional users. In spite of that, Apple fans are expecting the MacBook Pro 2017 to have a thinner design, a larger battery for more runtime and a new gold color, I4U News reported.

However, the KGI Securities analyst stated that the MacBook Pro 2017 would surely be equipped with numerous upgrades. Kuo noted that this MacBook Pro 15-inch model might have presented a challenge for the Cupertino based tech giant. The MacBook Pro 2017 15-inch variant will be the most significantly redesigned device this year. It has been said that the MacBook Pro 2017 will have a $1,200 price tag for the base model.
